Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
• Labor/service: Once the technician has done repair, installation, or maintenance, those labor charges are usually non‑refundable, even if you later decide you are unhappy, with remedies limited to re‑work under a workmanship guarantee.
• Equipment and parts: Unused parts or equipment may be returnable within 7–30 days, in original condition and packaging, and often with a restocking fee.
• Deposits and cancellations: Companies commonly require deposits to book work and may make deposits non‑refundable if you cancel within 24–48 hours of the appointment or after special‑order equipment is ordered.
Contracts and “money‑back” guarantees
• Many HVAC companies do not offer general satisfaction refunds, but some advertise money‑back guarantees, promising to fix problems or refund if they cannot meet agreed performance.
• Annual maintenance or “home service” contracts often include a clause letting you cancel within a short period (for example 24-48 hours) for a full refund if no claim has been made.
