Terms & Conditions - the basics
Company, Licensing, and Compliance
• Griffith Enterprise performs heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration work only under active licenses issued by the Alabama Board of Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractors (HACR Board).”
• “All field technicians must hold appropriate Alabama HVAC licenses or be registered apprentices working under the supervision of a licensed contractor, and must maintain required EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling.”
“The company will comply with all HACR Board laws, rules, and regulations, and with applicable local ordinances in each jurisdiction where work is performed.”
Codes, Permits, and Documentation
• “Installations and major repairs will follow the currently adopted Alabama Mechanical Code (based on the 2021 International Mechanical Code) and any applicable Alabama energy and residential codes, plus local building department amendments.”
• “Where required, Griffith Enterprise AC & Plumbing will obtain permits and arrange inspections through the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) before starting regulated work, and will not energize systems permanently until passed inspections are obtained.”
• “Project files will include permits, load calculations, equipment submittals, test results, and inspection approvals and will be retained for at least the minimum period required by Alabama law or board rules.”
